MAKING WATER OUT OF NOTHING

Could technology that transforms humidity into water be part of a global solution to drought? A Catalan inventor, Xavier Doló, has created a new system that transforms humidity into water, called Hydromatch. It acts like a giant airconditioning system and is able to produce 500.000 liters an hour. According to Doló, the machinery can work almost everywhere with at least 20 per cent of humidity, which includes many deserts.
